Create a Photoblog using wordpress

A Photoblog is similar to a blog but the main content is a photo. For the past one month i tried all gallery scripts in internet I didn’t like any of them, ofcourse they all have pros and cons.So back to the basics, i used the good wordpress and i am happy with it.

Wordpress:

Either create a self hosted wordpress blog or just create an account in wordpress.com and we are ready to start.

Why Wordpress ? As i said, i tired many gallery scripts. Wordpress is user friendly, simple, familiar working platform and since many of them use wordpress you can find themes and plugins easily.

Yet another Photoblog plugin: [YAPB]

The YAPB plugin converts your wordpress blog into full featured wordpress blog. The installation is very easy, just like any other wordpress plugin you install.

Download and install YAPB theme from here.

There are also other plugins which are very similar to YAPB. Just search for ‘gallery’ or ‘photoblog’ in wordpress.org

[If you have installed yapb plugin, just spend time on configuring it and posting a photo is simple. Just go to posts --> add new [as you always do] and there will be a separate field called ‘YAPB image’. Just upload and enjoy.
